We are delighted to announce the roll out of Timegate version 17. The following upgrades and enhancements are now available:
Wage to Budget Alerts
A new report has been introduced that will show any sites that have gone over budget. This will be based on comparison of the site wage spend against either the site contracted times value or site budget. The report can be run manually from the reporting menu or can be set up as an automatically generated report that will be sent to a defined escalation group.
A new feature has been added to allow the definition of contract codes that can be assigned to various entities in Timegate. These contract codes can then be used for analysis / reporting purposes in third party finance systems.
Hour Type Budget Exclusion
A new ‘Exclude from Budget’ field has been added to Hour Types. When selected, any duties of the hour type will no longer appear in the Site Team budget view.
A new “Data Warehouse” database has been created for Ad-hoc reporting and analysis of Timegate data. The Data Warehouse will be hosted in Azure and has initially been structured to allow existing ‘Business Analysis’ report views to be supported. Users will be able to use Business Analyst to create reports using Crystal Reports. Any existing reports will work on the Data Warehouse.
Qualification Expiry Alerts
A new feature has been introduced into Timegate so that a Help Desk task can be automatically created to warn that an Employee Qualification is about to expire. The Help Desk task will require a user to either close the task, which will let the qualification expire or “renew” to extend the validity of the qualification. Two new fields have been added to the Qualification maintenance screen to control the new behaviour – a checkbox which should be ticked if alerts are to be raised for expiring qualifications and a field to specify the number of days before the qualification expires the alert should be raised.
Employee Portal Redesign
The employee portal has been completely re-built from scratch, with the focus being primarily on mobile devices with an improved user experience that will provide a solid platform for future releases. The ability to change the theme of the portal is now built into Timegate.
Timegate Staff App
Amendments have been made to the Timegate Staff App to allow multiple users to use the app, allow dynamic app theming (rebranding) and to ensure consistency of the app across the various mobile platforms.
There are many additional features to explore, so why not get in touch with our project team today!
